A facebook page is set up in order for you to check on the progress of the trip and pictures as well as news will be regularly posted to keep you updated. https://www.facebook.com/russell.french.3954 Medication We will collect spare inhalers and other forms of medication when we get on the coach ready for departure.  Please make sure that they are packaged, named and with instructions. What to pack The weather in France is very similar to the weather here. Please pack accordingly. School uniform is not required. Clothes: Pupils should take casual but practical clothes for the trip e.g. jeans , tracksuits, t-shirts, an outdoor jacket preferably waterproof Shoes: Trainers are ideal or comfortable shoes  Other: Pupils will need their own toiletries and towels, bag for use on the trips to carry their belongings.  It may be hot and we will spend a lot of time outdoors. Sunscreen, a water bottle and a hat should be carried each day. Behaviour It is hoped that students enjoy the trip.  To ensure this, we expect sensible behaviour at ALL times.  We MUST make it clear that in addition to being ambassadors for the school, the reputation of the travel company (who have to maintain good relations with the centre, museums etc) is also at stake.  Excellent standards of behaviour, courtesy, co-operation and consideration are expected at all times.  This includes conduct within the group as well as in public. Any misconduct of any kind will lead to appropriate sanctions being enforced.  We rely on the responsibility of students not to purchase any items which infringe customs law, or purchase or carry items at any time during the tour which may be illegal either in the U.K. or in Europe. Going Around and free-time policy During any free time, NO student is to go off alone.  They MUST inform staff of their whereabouts and must always be in groups of no less than three.  Students must also make sure that they understand the importance of meeting at the times and places agreed. Failing to follow instructions or turning up on time at checkpoints will result in students being deprived of their free time. Food and Drink All meals are provided for, except during the travel (inbound and outbound). Please provide packed lunch or cash (for two meals).  Breakfast is served at the hotel and dinner is served in a different restaurant every night. Food will be excellent but may not be what they are used to; however there will be opportunities to try French food (still very child friendly).  Lunch is a packed lunch provided by Pizza Di Roma.  For Saturday, students will need food to last them the whole journey.  It is recommended that some sort of packed lunch is taken.  Food and drink in disposable packaging is best – no glass bottles.  There will, however, be stops where food and drink may be purchased, i.e. Folkestone.  Please inform us of any food allergy or special diet!
